10mm is having a comeback

I've been spotting more 10mm guns around. Sure, they pack a punch but the recoil can be brutal. Are they practical, or just neat to have, who actually carries a 10mm daily?

10mm’s a beast and fun to shoot, but I’d only carry it if I like bruised shoulders and bragging rights.

I used to carry a 10mm when hiking where there might be bears, but not every day in town. It's useful outdoors, but I like something that doesn't kick as much for everyday carry.

When I renovate solo in ghetto areas, where a random pitbull is the biggest worry, I carry my Springfield XDME 3.8” 10mm.

Very easy carry, and it’s a borderline oleasure to shoot.

I recently purchased a High Point chambered in 10MM. I figure that the heavy brick of a slide should suck up some of that recoil.
