Yeah, which are you glad you did NOT buy and you must tell us WHY.

For me, it was anything BLACK POWDER.

With all due respects for those here who are entheusiasts of the stuff, but I have a brother-in-law who was for a time totally enamored of his replicas. One in 36 caliber and one somewhere around 44 or 45. He and I were a few decades younger then, and we went to the range one beautiful, bright spring day with our favorite pistols. It just so happened that the slight breeze was directly from the target butts toward the firing line, and after enjoying ourselves for the morning, we piled into my station wagon for the trip home and I noticed that his face (as well as shirt and hands) were several (well many, actually) shades darker than when we started out. I casually asked him about it and he wiped his hand across his forehead and said, "Yeah, and it is a bit greasy, too." (He was filling the chambers ahead of the ball with Crisco.). His wife had long since gotten used to the laundry issues, but he was a truck mechanic anyway.

He then invited me to look at my own face in the rear-view mirror, as I had shot his pistols a good bit, too. We both had a good laugh then but that was IT for me.

Anything finicky with proprietary mags and picky ammo. If it won’t run dirty and cheap, it’s not riding with me.

I’m glad I never bought one of those tiny ultra-light pocket pistols I almost grabbed years ago. I shot one later and realized it was uncomfortable and tough to handle for me
