What to Avoid Wearing at the Range

Just wondering what everyone thinks about range attire. I've been going a bit lately and started to notice what people wear. One thing that really stands out? Camo. It just feels a bit much when you're doing basic drills or shooting some rounds. I mean, it's cool if that's your style, but it seems more suited for hunting.

I've been sticking with jeans, a simple shirt, and good boots for comfort and safety. Definitely not rocking sandals or anything like that. I feel like this keeps things chill and not too flashy, you know?

But is it just me? Should I lighten up? I'm curious to see what others think about this. What's your go-to range outfit? Any big no-nos for you?

To disparage camo, even in the slightest, seems to me to be more than a little over the top. It is just another one of a myriad of clothing choices in this modern age.
As for "rocking" sandals, just having a hot, recently discharged brass stuck between one's toes seems the height of folly for anyone, even of those for whom sandals is more of a cultural than a utilitarian choice.

But to each their own. That applies to clothing, shooting drills, Bullseye practice or just common, garden-variety plinking, just for fun.

There are some shooting sports which require some forms of clothing choices (think cowboy action games here) and to wish to practice when so encumbered would seem to me to be quite within reason, regardless of what the unknowing spectator might presume.

People all decked out in camo at the range appear desperate to me. Like they want every one to know how much they belong there…. Dressing the part. Sorta like Halloween.
It doesn't bother me, I just think it's funny and kinda sad. To each there own though.

If it me, it's probably because it's the warmest clothing I own!
