Spent $200 on fancy grips and I can't tell the difference

I thought better grips would help my shooting..they look cool but I shoot the same. Some upgrades are just for looks I guess
 
Welcome to the “looks fancy, shoots the same” club, sometimes your wallet feels lighter but your groups don’t.
 
Sadly, some of us have done this. Bought Hogue wood grips for our Security/Speed Six series revolvers. Beautiful pieces in various exotic woods. Look great! But suited for Frankenstein's hands. Worked for my kid, he's 6'4". Too big for me and the Missus. But Ruger had a clearance sale on Six Series revolvers. Perfect! Pachmayrs with Ruger medallions! Awesome!
 
Changing the grips on my revolvers helped. I don't anticipate my knuckle getting hit on the trigger guard.
