I'm looking to add a .22 pistol specifically for training purposes to reduce ammo costs while maintaining trigger time. I want something that closely mimics the ergonomics and trigger feel of my carry gun so the training transfers effectively, what models have you found reliable and practical for regular range work?

Glock 44 for Glock shooters, Sig P322 for fun and capacity, S&W M&P22 for similar ergonomics, and Ruger Mark or Browning Buck Mark for rock solid accuracy and reliability...Try them first

Also, just to echo the others on the platform, if you're willing to sacrifice the exact feel of your carry gun for maximum fun and reliability, the Ruger Mark IV or Browning Buck Mark are hands-down the best range tools. They're tack-drivers that eat almost any ammo, but yeah, they won't feel like a polymer duty pistol in your hand
