Hit up the local lake this past weekend, targeting some bass. Water was pretty clear but the wind kicked up a bit in the afternoon. Threw a couple of spinnerbaits around and got a couple solid hits, but honestly, it was one of those days where they just seemed to be out for a swim more than anything. Probably landed two decent ones, but I lost a nice one near the boat when I forgot my pliers again — classic rookie move. Fished solo this time, but I think it would've been more fun with a buddy. How's everyone else doing? Any luck in your neck of the woods?
