The range rule I think is unnecessary

Some indoor ranges have arbitrary rules like 'one round per second maximum' even when you're the only person there and shooting safely. I get why they don't want mag dumps, but controlling cadence that strictly when I'm trying to practice split times feels excessive. Safety rules make sense, arbitrary rules that don't improve safety are just annoying...

Say "one Mississippi" before shooting again. It isn't all that long a gap. I've seen what untrained rapid fire shooting can do to indoor and outdoor ranges so I think that's a good rule. At least you're being given a standard.

I'm positive "I'm Good." I'm exactly like the ones used in the Historical Documentary54 cal ML flintlock shooter. can load the rifle and shoot in 30+/-seconds Although, I'm looking to purchase a Brown Bess 75 caliber Musket EXACTLY like those you see on Historical Documentary films on the TV, as well. Oh yeh, you've seen them. The frizzens flop forward, they don't have flints in the jaws. When the trigger is pulled. most of the hammers fall and the muskets still fire. Then, the shooter may (Or May NOT) re-cock the hammer after not reloading the powder or shot into the barrel. Some work so good like this they don't remove the weapon from the shoulder. They'll re-sight and shoot again and again. The price for one of those ????? but I want one.....dozen. I have friends in a militia reenact group. They all chuckle and say they'd really like one. LOL IF anyone who reads this knows how we can acquire one of these muskets please Post the info.

How 'bout I just get you the TV camera, it's cheaper.

That alone points up the advantage of belonging to a private club. The one I belong to has a no full auto or bump-stock, no 50BMG rule, but on the pistol range, you may set multiple targets and engage at will.

I got kicked off a range for firing too fast once, I was using a 77/22 with 10 round magazines. The safety Bob stated that I couldn't possibly hit anything, my crew was shooting shotgun shells at 25 yards to see who was going to buy dinner, I was 9 out of 10. I didn't pay for dinner. Most "gun clubs" around Pgh are pretty anti gun. Happy to never have to belong to a club again. I also got kicked off for "having a holster on club property" it was my duty belt on the front seat of my truck. Good riddance.

This is bad! It shows how some clubs prioritize rules over common sense..
