My wife used to be scared of guns. But now, after some time at the range and learning how to use them safely, she owns a pistol and likes to shoot with me. Has anyone else had the same experience?

My wife kinda went from no guns to wanting her own. I still wonder what experience made her change her heart

Before we were married, sixty-plus years ago, I bought a brand new `9``-A1 from a mail order outfit and showed it to my bride-to-be. She wanted to shoot it as her father had carried one and shot it a bit during the late unpleasantness (WWII ). We took two boxes of GI hardball and some paper plates to the local sand-bank, and at 15 yards, she kept the whole magazine-full on the plate, while I always had one or more miss. She still shoots with me occasionally, I recently bought her a Rossi M-88 stainless (5-shot, 3" barrel, square butt)

That's great! My wife still just prays about it and avoids them. I’m hoping she changes her mind after going to the range one day but don't know if that will happen

That's amazing. Sixty years and still shooting! A real fan of the classics.
