I’ve been shooting 6.5 Creedmoor for ages. It's better than you’d think for both target shooting and hunting...what do you folks think?

I agree, the creedmoor gets more hate then it should, also i think an underrated caliber for deer and hog sized game is the 300 blackout

While I have several favorite cartridges, I'm another 6.5 CM fan. It just does everything it is supposed to and does it well. But I think my .280 Ackley Improved is my overall favorite rifle cartridge for deer hunting. It's hard not to love near magnum energy with less felt recoil, great accuracy and longer case life.

In handguns, the old .38 Super is basically a 9mm magnum that is fun to shoot and I enjoy responding to the, "Hey, what IS that?" questions.
