I’ve shot steel case ammo a few times and it’s been hit or miss depending on the rifle and conditions. Does anyone here use steel case ammo regularly, what’s been your experience?

Steel ammo works fine in some guns but not in others. It's good for cheap practice if your gun likes it, but I don't trust it for everything.

Steel case ammo has been okay for cheap practice in some of my guns, but others don't like it. I only use it in rifles that I already know can handle it.

My experience the lacquer coated hold up better in not so perfect conditions, but can get stuck in the camber of a hot gun if left in ( the lacquer can melt ) galvanize cases will corrode in time if not sealed and stored properly. As far as shooting the wolf ammo (7.62x39) from Russia is the most accurate ammo out of my Ruger American.
