Small town displays hit different

I feel like small towns do Christmas lights better than cities sometimes, does anyone live in or near a small town that really brings it for Christmas? I am looking for those hidden gem towns worth driving to.

Some small towns really go big cause they're tight-knit communities with strong family ties. I went to Woodstock, Vermont last year and had a great time.

I grew up near a farming town and all the main street lights came on at once. No crowds, no tickets, just happiness . It felt more real than anything I've seen in cities.
