At 80+ I can no longer see my open sights to hunt. My Son-in-Law contacted a Pa Game Warden regarding the use of red dot sights on a muzzleloader for hunting in flintlock season. He was told that there is nothing to prevent us from using a non-magnification red dot sight. I have a TC Hawken flintlock and discovered that a Weaver 61A top mount base will replace my original back sight with no modifications.

Just passing this along for us Old Guys.
